On your international flight, remember to take with you in the cabin your medication and prescription, a change of clothes (underwear, t-shirt, socks), a small toiletry kit and your medical assistance and repatriation insurance certificate. The travel bag must weigh less than 15 kg, as space is limited in the vehicle and on certain domestic flights. A small daypack for your personal belongings. Having your entry visa for Tanzania before departure will reduce the time you have to wait to leave the airport (remember to bring a pen to fill in the traffic form). For Zanzibar, we recommend a mosquito repellent.

It is preferable to be up-to-date with your BCG -DT Polio vaccinations. The yellow fever vaccine, certified by the international vaccination booklet, can help avoid administrative problems at the airport (proof required indiscriminately), but is not a legal requirement, except for Zanzibar and nationals of cholera-infested countries, or for people who have transited through these countries. Don’t forget to bring your malaria treatment and mosquito repellent (body and clothing). Medical assistance and repatriation insurance is essential. Check with your insurance company to find out what you are covered for.
