Zanzibar Island

Zanzibar is an archipelago made up of Zanzibar and Pemba Islands, and several islets. It is also called the Spice Island.

It is characterized by beautiful sandy beaches with fringing coral reefs, and the magic of historic Stone Town-said to be the only functioning ancient town in East Africa.

Zanzibar is a mixture of Africa and the East, an oriental architecture imbued with African cultures such as the dhows or dhows boats recognizable by their slender lines. Exotic spices used in cooking, cosmetics and médicine are found here.

Jozani forest is a timeless place where you can see red colobus monkeys, antelopes or butterflies that can not be found anywhere else.

Depending on the location and your desire to move, the host hotels offer activities to help you discover the richness and diversity of this island.
